After a lot of thought, I decided to switch careers from 3d Artist to become a Learning and Development specialist. It's not just about changing the career I used to be in; it's more than that. It's about "Panggilan Jiwa" that I did not find in my previous role, like contributing to their life.
Not stopping here, to support this journey, I should gain more knowledge and competencies so I am able to help others. The first thing I did was join the L&D Bootcamp; it helped me a lot to understand the framework of L&D itself. Along the way, I realized that this area does not stand alone; it is related to the Human Resources area. So, I joined an HR bootcamp held by IODA to gain more knowledge. In addition, I obtained a competency certification, "Human Resource Staff," from BNSP. Moreover, I learned the most important technical skill, which is Data, luckily because my previous role required me to learn new software quickly; it's easy for me to learn it.
In the future, I am willing to become an expert within the next 5 years. Not just in my career path but also academically. I have a plan to pursue my master's in social science, especially in Human Development. For me, learn not just stop when we are in collage but its something that we should doing it for the rest of our lives. But before going to the next level, I want to contribute the knowledge that I have gained before to the institution or company. I just want to make some impact for others, especially in a company that really needs learning and development.
Training people is one thing, but helping individuals be the best version of themselves is a "thing" that I really wanna to do for the rest of my life.
With love,
Aina
